Front Desk / Museum Ambassador
Sell admission tickets to the museum, gift shop merchandise, and meet visitors from around the world: Read More.
Be an ambassador for Canmore’s history, sharing stories of the Great March West and the North West Mounted Police: Read More.
Spend your summer afternoons hiking up to Grassi Lakes or hanging out at Riverside Park, pointing out interesting geological features to hikers and visitors: Read More.
Reference Library Assistant
Help reorganize and relocate our reference library into its two new locations at the Canmore Museum and our offsite storage facility. Read More.
Explore our archives and work with our Collections Manager on a cataloguing and digitisation project that aims to increase and improve the information available to the general public: Read More.
Rock & Fossil Identification
Help analyse and identify unknown specimens and rocks. And help us help our visitors learn about geology and geoscience: Read More.
Assist students and families with lessons and activities. Help answer questions and create a safe learning environment: Read More.
Docents conduct guided tours of the museum for diverse audiences. Using role play and storytelling, Docents provide visitors with a broader context of our exhibits: Read More.
