CANMORE HERITAGE DINNER
Join us as we kick off the Canmore Heritage Festival with a traditional Ukrainian supper. Learn about the history of the United Miner Workers of America and Local 1387. The evening will finish with entertainment from local musicians.

Join members of the Stoney Nakoda at the Barracks for a series of cultural activities and storytelling about life before settlement. Learn how traditional foods were prepared. Try your hand putting up our children’s tipi and learn about camp life.

Doors Open Canmore explores places that help define Canmore – past and present. Stop in at the Uncovering Canmore’s Heritage Open House. Take in the Fabulous Fifites Movie Fest. Enjoy live jazz at our Jubilee Garden Party festival finale.

Doors Open creates opportunities for residents and visitors to discover our town by exploring a wide range of places for free. While other towns and cities across Canada host Doors Open annually, this is Canmore’s first-time hosting a Doors Open event. Check out the participating venues below.
