Mayor Sean Krausert will be raising the Pride flag in the spirit of celebrating Canmore Pride 2022 with special guests, the Honorable Janis Irwin, MLA for Edmonton-Highlands-Norwood and NDP Critic for Women and LGBTQ2S+ issues and Sarah Elmeligi, Alberta NDP candidate for the Banff-Kananaskis Constituency.
Following the flag raising, Canmore Pride will welcome folks to enjoy coffee, donuts and other goodies at the Canmore Museum inside the Civic Centre. Bring yourselves and a heart full of love. All ages, genders and sexualities are welcome.
Admission to the Canmore Museum is free September 15 as part of the Canmore Museum’s Community Days program. Hosted in collaboration with the 2022 Canmore Pride Festival.
