Volunteers’ Garden Party
August 19 @ 2:00 am - 3:30 pm
Volunteers are vital to the work we do at the Canmore Museum. Through their dedication and enthusiasm, we’re able to enhance our visitor services, better manage our collections, and provide visitors with remarkable experiences.
Museum volunteers help in all areas of the museum. They can be found on the front lines, serving visitors in various programs or the Museum Shop, and behind-the-scenes, helping maintain our collections. Our volunteers are all ages, come from all backgrounds, and are passionate about sharing their time, talents and energy.
As the Canmore Museum looks to relaunch in early September after closing in mid-March, we would like to welcome back our family of volunteers with a (socially distanced) Volunteers’ Garden Party on August 19 from 2:00 to 3:30 at the NWMP Barracks. It will be an opportunity to reconnect , as well as to learn first hand some of the opportunities to get involved and the changes our new Volunteer Coordinator, Susan Suttie, will be making to the volunteer program. It will also be an opportunity to introduce our new Executive Director, Ron Ulrich to the Canmore Museum and NWMP Barracks volunteer family.
It wouldn’t be a proper garden party without refreshments – iced tea, lemonade, pastries and finger sandwiches will be served! Please help us plan for the event. RSVP today!RSVP Today!
