    We are seeking a Collections Assistant to work in the Collections area. This position works directly with the Collections Manager and deals with the over 12,000 objects and photographs in storage and on display.   • NWMP Barracks Site Attendant

    The Barracks Site Attendant will oversee all programs and activities at the Barracks, as well as assist with researching, planning and developing new programs.

  • Canmore Museum & Geoscience Centre Attendant

    The student will be given the opportunity to host visitors from Canada and around the world, and to develop and practice skills in listening, effective communication, and outstanding customer service. They will also have the opportunity to assist with the organization of such annual events as the Miners Days parade and BBQ and the Geoscience Open House and Heritage Open House, acquiring hands-on practical work experience in planning, organizing, and completing tasks and projects including developing problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Programs Assistant

    Under the guidance of the Program Director, the student will strengthen teaching skills and gain practical experience in working with preschool as well as school-aged children. The student will interact with children in both a learning and recreational environment. Working with the Program Coordinator, the student will have the opportunity to develop educational materials and interpretive skills.
