The Canmore Museum is pleased to welcome the Canmore Pride Society for the month of September!
We will be showcasing the work of one of Canmore’s newest non-profit organizations as they make Canmore history by hosting their first Canmore Pride Festival. On September 17 with the opening of their Community Gallery exhibit, Stories of Queer Canmore, a community collected exhibition presenting the self-actualization stories of LGBTQ2S+ people residing in the Bow Valley and surrounding areas.
Admission to the Museum is free all day and coffee is on us! Drop in and learn more about the work of this organization promoting equity, diversity and inclusion, some of the key organizational values we share with the Canmore Pride Society.
