Our members represent a community of people inspired by the rugged Canadian Rocky Mountain landscape that surrounds us and the culture, language and traditions of those that have called this place home for over 10,000 years. When someone invests in a membership, they are taking an active role in supporting the Canmore Museum and arts and culture in our community and region.

By joining the Canmore Museum, you become part of our museum community and your membership gives you year-long access to the Canmore Museum. Plus, it’s essential support for our mission:

We ignite shared experiences and unexpected connections by bringing people together around art, history, place and culture to build a stronger, more connected community.

Buying a membership provides immediate benefits for you and long-lasting benefits for the Canmore Museum.

We would love to hear from you if you have questions about our membership program.

I am thrilled to be living and working in the beautiful town of Canmore and am looking forward to getting to know the community better. As an anthropologist, community programmer, and child of two historians, I am committed to community building and to running member and visitor programs that are both meaningful to the community and build greater connections around art, culture, history, and the local landscape. My goal is always to listen and learn, so If you have any ideas, questions, or concerns about book club, program registration, membership programming, the Museum Shop or anything else you feel the Canmore Museum should or could be doing, please reach out.
