Corporal Clarke is in need of a second officer at the Canmore NWMP Barracks. Do you know how to take fingerprints? Do you have a superior knowledge of the area’s terrain? Do you know how to keep your boots polished and buttons gleaming and ready for inspection? Then you just might be the person Corporal Clarke is looking for!

Drop by the NWMP Barracks for an afternoon of fun hands-on STEM activities and crafts featuring the storytellers from the Banff Canmore Ghost Walks. Learn about the life of the officers stationed at the Barracks and the storied history of the Canmore NWMP, from their arrival in the Bow Valley in 1887 to policing in Canmore until the 1930s. Part of the Canmore NWMP Barrack’s recognition of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the NWMP.

This is a free program, but program registration is highly encouraged. Walk-in participation may be accommodated, capacity dependent. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
