Event Series Event Series: INDIGENOUS STORIES TIPI PROGRAM

Explore the living culture and traditions of the Îyârhe Nakoda peoples at the Indigenous Stories Tipi Program, held on Saturdays throughout the summer at the NWMP Barracks grounds.

Step inside the welcoming tipi, where Îyârhe Nakoda interpreters await to share their knowledge and stories. Visitors are invited to engage in casual conversations, learning about the history, living culture, language, and traditions of the Îyârhe Nakoda.

Experience hands-on cultural demonstrations that provide a glimpse into the vibrant heritage of the Îyârhe Nakoda peoples. Whether you’re seeking to deepen your understanding of Indigenous culture or simply curious to learn more, all are welcome to join us for this unique experience.

This program is free and drop in. No registration required.
