Do you need a way to spend more time with your Canmore Book Club friends? If so, please join us for our Stories of Canmore: Topic Deep Dives where guest speakers will add different perspectives to the themes brought up in our monthly book choice.
Author of this month’s book, From Sojourners to Citizens, Dr. Adriana Davies will dive further into the topic of the mining industry in Alberta and tell us about the Italians involved in this industry. Mining played a crucial role in the development of Canmore and therefore a deep dive into Alberta mining will give us insight into the formation of our own community.
