Please join us for a Tipi Raising Ceremony to celebrate the start of our Indigenous Stories Tipi Program. Îyârhe Nakoda interpreters will take us through the process and ceremony of raising a tipi, explaining the cultural significance behind the practice. As a participant, you will be encouraged to take part in the raising and experience the drumming and dance that is part of this special ceremony.
Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
