MUSEUM HOURS & ADMISSION

The Museum and Gift Shop are open to the general public Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; the Museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Museum Admission fees are:

  • Adult (age 18-64) | $10
  • Senior (65+) | $8
  • Post secondary students (18+ with student ID) | $8
  • Youth (13-17) | $5
  • Child (age 12 and under) | free
  • Indigenous | free
  • Canmore Museum Members | free
  • Canmore/Banff Affordability Services cardholders | free

Our Museum Gift Shop offers a curated collection of books, gifts, jewellery and locally made art which represents Canmore’s culture, history and landscapes.

ACCESSIBILITY & FACILITIES

The Canmore Museum is located inside the Canmore Civic Centre at 902B 7th Avenue in downtown Canmore.

  • Paid street parking and surface lot parking are available nearby
  • Canmore is accessible via Roam Transit; the 5C and 5T buses within Canmore are free for everyone
  • Automated doors are located at both the east and west sides of the building
  • Public washrooms are available inside the Civic Centre building, but are not barrier-free
  • Picnic facilities are located in the Rotary Friendship Park, immediately behind the Civic Centre
