MUSEUM HOURS + ADMISSION
The Museum is open to the general public Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; the Museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Museum Admission fees are:
- Adult (age 18-64) | $10
- Senior (65+) | $8
- Post secondary students (18+ with student ID) | $8
- Youth (13-17) | $5
- Child (age 12 and under) | free
- Indigenous | free
- Canmore Museum Members | free
- Canmore/Banff Affordability Services cardholders | free
Admission ticket is valid same day for both the Canmore Museum and the NWMP Barracks Provincial Historic Site.

COLLECTIONS & ARCHIVES
The Canmore Museum Collections is currently accessible to the public online and by appointment. For more information please email or call our Collections and Exhibitions Manager to set up an appointment.

VISITOR AMENITIES
- Our Museum Shop offers a curated collection of books, gifts, jewellery and locally made art which represents Canmore’s culture, history and landscapes.
- Public washrooms are available inside the Civic Centre building.
- Picnic facilities are located in the Rotary Friendship Park, immediately behind the museum

LOCATION + PARKING
The Canmore Museum is located at 902B 7th Avenue, Canmore, Alberta. Paid street parking and surface lot parking are available nearby. The Canmore Museum is also accessible via Roam Transit. The 5C and 5T buses within Canmore are free for everyone.
