Please join us for a Tipi Closing Ceremony to honour the end of this season’s Indigenous Stories Tipi Program. Îyârhe Nakoda interpreters will take us through the process and ceremony of taking down a tipi, explaining the cultural significance behind the practice. As a participant, you will be encouraged to take part in the closing and experience the drumming and dance that is part of this special ceremony.

This event is free and drop in, but RSVP’s are greatly appreciated.
